A message from our manager Emily Hernon following the latest government Lockdown announcement
I hope you are all well, and have had a good half term break. I am just touching base following yesterday's lockdown announcement from the government. I know many of you may be feeling anxious and apprehensive.
All of the guidance so far says that playgroup will be able to stay open, so children can return to playgroup as usual tomorrow, staff are looking forward to welcoming them back. We will keep up to date with latest government advice, and will let you know if anything changes.
I want to reassure you that your children's safety, health and wellbeing is our absolute priority, and we will do our best to give your children a safe, happy space where they can play, laugh and learn with friends. We will continue with all of our coronavirus safety and hygiene measures, and ask that families continue to work with us to help keep playgroup safe by letting us know if your family or close contacts are self-isolating, have symptoms or a positive case.
I also want you to let know that we understand this may be a really difficult time for some of our families, that some may have changes in their situations and financial worries, or mental or physical health stresses and strains. Please do feel you can come to us and talk to us if you are struggling. We will always listen and help in whatever way we can, and may be able to signpost you to other organisations that can help.
